G.O.N.E. is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.

Any group can become G.O.N.E.- affiliated! Environmental groups,  Scouting groups, churches, 
hobby clubs, neighborhood associations and more can use G.O.N.E.  to help the environment. 
Employee groups are especially suited to become G.O.N.E. groups because they give co-workers
the opportunity to get together outside work to have fun. All kinds of existing organizations, such 
as water conservation, forest preservation groups,  wildlife protection groups are encouraged to 
become G.O.N.E.-affiliated and take advantage of G.O.N.E.

This page will explain how your social group,  whatever its focus may be, can become G.O.N.E.
affiliated and help the environment. It will also explain how existing environmental groups can 
use G.O.N.E. to promote their causes and increase their membership.

All G.O.N.E.-affiliated groups are completely self-sufficient and keep all the money they raise. 
G.O.N.E. never charges member groups for any of its on-line services. G.O.N.E. will use the 
Internet to promote your group and its cause. G.O.N.E. also offers suggestions and support for 
group leaders, helping your group to plan fun and educational fundraising events.

G.O.N.E. makes no rules, only suggestions about    how groups are run, so an existing group 
can easily become a G.O.N.E. group.

Don't worry! G.O.N.E.-affiliated groups retain their original identities while adding an environmental
dimension. Your existing group will be able to get together with other G.O.N.E.  groups in your 
area for fun and educational events. By adding G.O.N.E. to your group you will increase your 
opportunities  for fun, gain new members (if you wish), and do something valuable for your
community.

If you chose to make your group G.O.N.E.-affiliated    you will give your fellow group members 
the opportunity to have even more fun while working for the environment. G.O.N.E.  will help 
promote  your group, its cause, and all its events right here on this website.
